The film is a Lynchian noir style drama, reminiscent of Powell & Pressburger, about a young woman trapped in purgatory speaking to her guilty conscience manifest in the guise of a 1940s radio drama actor.

The fantasy aspect of the film is similar to “It’s a Wonderful Life”, “Stairway To Heaven”, or “The Seventh Seal” with shades of J-Horror as the woman reflects on her life before her death.
